The Privacy Protection Mark
Objective:
- To validate organisation compliance of the Privacy Law by showing Evidences of the Data Protection Management Program (DPMP)
- To validate the Implementation of the DPMP through a Process Audit to validate staff understanding and competency
- To allow Organisation to showcase they have complied with the Privacy Law towards Operational Excellence, so as to secure trust from their stakeholders.
Reference:
- Reference the relevant Privacy Law/s in which the organisation has stakeholders who are residents of that country or countries.
- Reference the ISO 27001 and 27701 Standards in the documentation so as to facilitate their certification adoption in future.
Requirements:
- Certified Privacy Protection Auditor from PDPC.ASIA will audit on the Data Protection Management Program (DPMP) documentation. If the whole compliance is conducted by PDPC.ASIA Certified Privacy Consultant, the validation process will be very much faster.
- Certified Privacy Protection Auditor from PDPC.ASIA will audit on the staff understanding and competency with regards to the integration of the policies into their SOPs and operational excellence.
